Description
The Dahlia ‘David Howard’ is a striking, easy-to-grow variety known for its bold orange blooms set against dark foliage. Growing from a size-1 tuber, it reaches 70 cm to 1 m and performs best when planted 10 cm deep with three tubers per m² in a sunny, exposed position. Flowering from July to September, it adds vibrant colour to borders, pots, gravel and coastal gardens, and makes an excellent cut flower. With its upright habit and reliable nature, this bee-friendly dahlia is also mouse, deer and rabbit resistant, establishing beautifully in its first year and suitable for gardeners of all experience levels.

Plant Allium bulbs in autumn (September–November) in a sunny spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole 2 to 3 times the height of the bulb and place it with the pointed tip facing up. Space bulbs 10 to 20 cm apart. Cover with soil and water lightly. In spring, enjoy beautiful purple flowers!
