Return and refunds

These returns and refund conditions apply to all orders within our delivery area. Please read these terms carefully, as they set out your rights and obligations as a customer and ours as a supplier. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Problems with Your Order Upon Delivery

Gerven Bulbs has a legal obligation to supply products that conform to the contract and are fit for their intended purpose.

  • Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items
  • Please inspect your orderΒ immediately upon delivery
  • Any damaged, incorrect or missing items should be reported as soon as possible, preferably within 14 days of receipt

Contact us via our contact form or by email and include clear photos of the issue

Depending on the situation:

  • the product may not need to be returned
  • we will offer aΒ free replacement or a refund

If a product is no longer available, we reserve the right to offer a suitable alternative or refund the purchase price.

Incorrect Flowering or Wrong Variety

If, during flowering, it becomes apparent that:

  • an incorrect variety has been supplied, or
  • the flower colour clearly differs from what was ordered,

please contact us and include photos of the flowers in bloom.
After assessment, we will offer a replacement or a refund.

Minor colour differences caused by natural variation or growing conditions are excluded.

Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

You have the right to cancel your order, in whole or in part, within 14 days of receipt, without giving any reason.

Conditions:

  • You must notify us within the 14-day period
  • Products must be:

Products may be inspected and evaluated as you would in a physical store.

If the product is damaged, or if the packaging is damaged more than necessary to try the product, we may charge you for any loss in value of the product. Please handle the product with care and ensure that it is properly packaged when returned.

Return requests must be submitted to us within 14 days of receiving the order. After registering the return, the consumer has a minimum of 14 days to return the product.

Returning Products

Due to the nature of living products, we kindly ask you to contact us first before returning any items. We will provide return instructions and the correct return address.


Return Costs

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • If the product was:
    • delivered incorrectly, or
    • damaged on arrival,
      we will cover the return shipping costs

Refunds

  • Once we have received and inspected your return, you will receive a confirmation by email
  • Refunds will be processedΒ within 10 working days
  • Refunds are limited to theΒ purchase price of the relevant product
  • Shipping costs will only be refunded where legally required or in cases of error on our part

Failure or Poor Growth of Bulbs and Plants

Gerven Bulbs takes responsibility for the quality of products at the time of dispatch.
However, we cannot guarantee successful growth under all conditions.

We are not liable for failure caused by:

  • weather conditions
  • soil conditions
  • incorrect planting time
  • insufficient or improper care
  • pests or diseases after delivery

If you believe a product has failed due to a quality issue, please notify us in a timely manner, preferably with photos, so we can assess the situation and advise accordingly.

Liability

Our liability is limited at all times to the purchase price of the relevant product.
We are not liable for:

  • consequential or indirect damage
  • costs incurred after delivery
  • loss of anticipated yield or profit

Complaints

In the event of complaints, the consumer should first contact the seller.

If the webshop is affiliated with WebwinkelKeur and the complaint cannot be resolved through mutual consultation, the consumer should contact WebwinkelKeur. WebwinkelKeur will mediate free of charge.

The consumer can verify whether this webshop has an active membership via WebwinkelKeur Members Page.

If no solution is reached after mediation, the consumer has the option to submit the complaint to the independent disputes committee appointed by WebwinkelKeur. The decision of this committee is binding, and both the seller and the consumer agree to accept this binding decision.

There are costs associated with submitting a dispute to this disputes committee, which must be paid by the consumer to the relevant committee.

It is always possible that something may not go entirely as planned. We recommend that you first make your complaint known to us by emailing gervenbulbs@gmail.com. If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to submit your dispute for mediation through WebwinkelKeur Dispute Resolution.
