Plant Galanthus bulbs in autumn (September–November) in a partially shaded to sunny spot with well-draining, humus-rich soil. Dig a hole 2 to 3 times the height of the bulb and place it with the pointed tip facing up. Space bulbs 5 to 8 cm apart. Cover with soil and water lightly.
