The Dahlia 'Dark Angel Star Wars' is a striking semi-hardy variety with bold orange blooms and dark foliage, reaching a height of 20-30 cm. With a blooming spread of 5-10 cm, it has an upright habit that adds vibrant color to any garden.

Flowering from July to September, this easy-to-grow dahlia thrives in partial shade or full sun and prefers a sheltered position. Ideal for cottage gardens, gravel gardens, borders, low-maintenance gardens, pots, and large containers, it offers versatility and charm. Plant 3 tubers per square meter at a depth of 3-5 cm for a lively and colorful summer display.

Plant Dahlia tubers from may to early June in a sunny spot. Place the tuber just below the soil surface with the eye facing up. Space 30–40 cm apart and water lightly.

      Dahlia tubers should be planted in spring, after the last frost has passed. In most climates, this is between April and May. Make sure the soil has warmed up before planting.

      No, dahlias are not winter hardy. In colder climates, the tubers need to be lifted from the ground in autumn and stored in a cool, dry, frost-free place until the following spring.

      Yes, removing spent flowers encourages the plant to produce more blooms and keeps it looking tidy throughout the season.
