The Dahlia 'Burlesca' is a charming pink-flowered variety that adds a touch of vibrancy and grace to your garden. Growing to a height of 1 to 1.2 m with a delicate blooming spread of 5-10 cm, this upright plant is a standout in any setting. Flowering from July to September, the 'Burlesca' thrives in full sun and prefers a sheltered position for optimal growth. Semi-hardy and easy to grow, it is well-suited to both experienced and beginner gardeners. Plant the tubers 3-5 cm deep with a spacing of 3 tubers per m² for best results. Plant Dahlia tubers from may to early June in a sunny spot. Place the tuber just below the soil surface with the eye facing up. Space 30–40 cm apart and water lightly.

    We ship all orders once a week, on Wednesdays. This ensures your order arrives before the weekend, so you can enjoy planting your dahlias right away.

      Dahlia tubers should be planted in spring, after the last frost has passed. In most climates, this is between April and May. Make sure the soil has warmed up before planting.

      No, dahlias are not winter hardy. In colder climates, the tubers need to be lifted from the ground in autumn and stored in a cool, dry, frost-free place until the following spring.

      Yes, removing spent flowers encourages the plant to produce more blooms and keeps it looking tidy throughout the season.
