This semi-hardy plant grows upright, reaching an established height of 70 cm to 1 meter and a blooming spread of 20-30 cm. Its dark foliage creates a bold contrast against the fiery red blooms. Plant Allium bulbs in autumn (September–November) in a sunny spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole 2 to 3 times the height of the bulb and place it with the pointed tip facing up. Space bulbs 10 to 20 cm apart. Cover with soil and water lightly. In spring, enjoy beautiful purple flowers!
